The Assistant Construction Superintendent supports the Director of Construction in overseeing daily site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing materials, and addressing issues promptly to maintain efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities to maintain progress and quality
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Coordinate project schedules among subcontractors and teams
• Oversee quality control measures throughout construction phases
• Manage subcontractor performance and communications
• Handle material deliveries and inventory to avoid delays
• Prepare daily reports documenting site progress and issues
• Identify and resolve on-site problems promptly
• Coordinate inspections to meet regulatory and project standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Skilled in project coordination and communication
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
