Assistant Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service. Assist stylists with coloring, cutting, and styling services. Support stylists in mixing color and shampooing. Handle cleaning duties and restock shelves as needed. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following all health and safety regulations. Use salon software to schedule appointments, manage client information, and process payments. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide information to clients. Count inventory and assist in managing stock levels. Attend weekly in‑salon education sessions. Commit to learning and progressing towards becoming a stylist.
