Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,540 per week

Job Title: Physical Therapists - PT THER - Travel Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Alpena, Michigan. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location: Alpena, MI Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee and supervise PTAs and supporting therapy technicians. Bill within the setting, following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand and use adaptive equipment. Modify plans of care as needed based on patient condition. Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Must have 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged). Must hold BLS certification and a state‑specific license. Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Must demonstrate sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Requirements: BLS, 1 year of experience. Additional certifications may be required before the assignment. Compensation Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
