Status : Full-Time, 36 Hours Per Week, 165 Days Per Year Title : Special Education Teacher Location : Coal Ridge High School, Silt CO 81652 Salary Range: Salary Schedules *In district experience salary range: $44,731.00-$123,977.00 *No in district experience salary range (honor up to 10 years outside experience): $44,731.00-$67,102 Benefits : Garfield Re-2 School District offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, prescription drug coverage, medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts, Aflac products, employee assistance programs, surgery plus opportunities, paid time off, sick leave, vacation leave, holiday pay, PERA retirement plan with 21.4% of salary contribution paid by the employer, identity theft protection, local discounts, Verizon Wireless discount, and more. License Cheat Sheet Path 2- Long Term Substitute - Only requires a sub-license and you would receive on-the-job training: Sublicense Path 3- Apprentice Teacher of Record- If you are interested in completing your bachelor's degree and becoming a teacher, the Colorado Department of Education is partnering with the Department of Labor to create a Teacher Apprentice Program.
