Work Environment\nThis position is designed to be remote, allowing flexibility while remaining deeply connected to our Hospice Center operations. While primarily working from home, you will engage closely with interdisciplinary teams through virtual meetings and collaborative platforms. Our typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though occasional evening shifts and weekend rotations may arise. Your role may also require on-call availability to address urgent mental health needs as they arise.
Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate students' psychological and emotional statuses. \n
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on addressing mental health challenges and facilitating integration into the educational environment. \n
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to specific diagnoses, such as ASD, learning disabilities, and trauma. \n
- Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping students develop coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal growth. \n
- Coordinating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to each student’s care. \n
- Responding to mental health emergencies and crises, offering immediate intervention and resource information. \n
- Delivering psychoeducation to students and families, aiding them in understanding mental health conditions and available resources. \n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements. \n
- Participating actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff development initiatives. \n
- Staying up-to-date with current laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health care. \n
Your work will primarily focus on students with diverse special needs, including those facing autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral challenges. These individuals often require tailored support to navigate their unique difficulties in educational settings, and as an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their mental wellness and success.
Qualifications\nTo be considered for this role, you should possess:

- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Georgia. \n
