Staff Accountant, Hybrid

Staff AccountantWe are actively seeking a Staff Accountant for a company in Garland. Some of the Staff Accountant's responsibilities will be performing journal entries, account reconciliations, posting accruals and assisting with the month end close process. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to learn and eager to gain knowledge from a great mentor. This is a Hybrid position and pays 70K-75K.Responsibilities:Review the general ledgerPrepare and review monthly balance sheet/bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly accrualsVarious cash management functionsCompile data and prepare a variety of reports and formsCreate ad hoc reports as requested by the Accounting ManagerQualifications:1-3 years of accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field requiredStrong excel skillsExceptional written and interpersonal communication skillsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
