Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Details:

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, valid state license, completion of respiratory therapy training, location in Iowa, and 0+ years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric respiratory care experience, additional pediatric certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) preferred
• Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist provides intensive respiratory care, including operating ventilatory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, monitoring oxygenation and ventilation, performing pulmonary function studies, assisting with procedures, and ensuring proper documentation. The role involves patient education, equipment maintenance, and adhering to all policies related to respiratory care and laboratory testing as applicable.
