• Hourly Pay: $40 – $63/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000

Position Summary

The Nurse Case Manager coordinates patient care across the healthcare continuum.

Main focus:

• Discharge planning
• Care coordination
• Utilization review
• Insurance/resource coordination
• Patient and family support

Acts as a clinical resource for:

• Patients
• Families
• Physicians
• Nursing staff

Shift / Schedule

Typical Case Management schedules are:

• Monday–Friday primarily
• 8-hour shifts common
• Some weekend/holiday rotation possible depending on department

Requirements

• Graduate from accredited nursing school
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in acute care hospital
• Minimum 1 year in:
• • Case Management
  • Discharge Planning
  • Utilization Review

Additional Preferred:

• 3+ years Case Management experience in acute care
• Pediatric Case Management experience
• Emergency Department experience
• Utilization Review experience
• Charge Nurse experience

Alternative consideration:

• 5 years RN acute-care experience + 1 year Charge Nurse experience may be accepted

License & Certifications

Required:

• Active Nevada RN license
• BLS (AHA)

Preferred certifications:

• CCM (Certified Case Manager)
• ACM (Accredited Case Manager)

Professional memberships preferred:

• CCMC
• ACCM
• ACMA
