Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology/Infusion, Per Diem Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, New Hampshire seeks a dedicated RN to join our Infusion suite. At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and we are looking for an RN to provide high‑quality patient care. The primary responsibilities of the RN include: Knowledge of medications and correct administration based on age and clinical condition. Formulating a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluating its effectiveness; family may be included in teaching as appropriate. Assisting physicians with procedures and performing services requiring technical and manual skills. Performing treatments/infusions and providing services aligned with licensure level. Accurately recording, handling, and labeling specimens; demonstrating care in specimen handling. Responding appropriately to the patient in an emergency or physically distressing situation. Ensuring documentation meets current standards, policies and procedures and is completed within a shift. Performing waived testing (point‑of‑care testing) per Clinical Laboratory’s and the patient care unit’s policies and procedures. Interpreting results of waived tests and taking appropriate action. Ideal qualifications for this role include: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Two years’ experience in a related field. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification preferred (on‑site training available). Current state Registered Nurse licensure, within state of practice. Current AHA BLS certification.
