In partnership with the Operations team, the RDD ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care, fosters a culture of clinical excellence, supports provider engagement, and contributes to the growth and success of the Dental Support Organization (DSO). This role requires a balance of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen. In addition, the RDD will float between offices within their region to provide clinical coverage when needed and play a key role in training, mentoring, and developing new doctors./ppKey Responsibilities:/ph3Clinical Leadership Quality Assurance/h3ulliPromote a culture of clinical excellence aligned with the DSOs standards and core values./liliProvide clinical oversight, guidance, and support to all regional dentists./liliLead quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and clinical audits./liliEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and board regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, etc.)./li/ulh3Provider Management Development/h3ulliParticipate in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of dental providers./liliConduct performance evaluations and implement development plans for providers./liliMentor and coach clinicians to promote continuous growth and leadership readiness./liliFacilitate continuing education, clinical training, and team-building efforts./liliFloat between offices across the region to provide clinical coverage, support practice continuity, and reinforce organizational standards through hands-on leadership and mentorship./li/ulh3Operational Collaboration/h3ulliPartner with Regional Operations Managers to drive practice efficiency, performance and to provide coverage./liliAlign clinical and operational strategies to meet patient satisfaction and productivity goals./liliStandardize treatment protocols and best practices across all supported offices./liliParticipate in the integration of new acquisitions or de novo practice openings./li/ulh3Strategic Financial Leadership/h3ulliAssist in setting regional goals for production, collections, and case acceptance./liliMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for improvement./liliIdentify opportunities for growth, service expansion, or optimization./li/ulh3Patient Care Risk Management/h3ulliSupport providers in managing complex cases and patient concerns./liliMitigate risk through proactive oversight and enforcement of clinical protocols./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliDMD or DDS from an accredited dental school./liliActive and unrestricted dental license in practicing states within the region./liliMinimum 5+ years of clinical experience (strongly preferred 3+ years in a leadership role)./liliExperience in a DSO or multi-site dental environment strongly preferred./liliStrong knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and dental operations./liliExcellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills./liliProficiency with dental practice management software and reporting tools./li/ul/div
