Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer specializing in pediatric echo for a 13-week day shift contract requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Pediatric cardiac sonography unit within a hospital setting
• Performs echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac studies
• Day shift, 5x7.5 hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Charts using Epic EMR
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech
• Active BLS certification required
• ARDMS RDCS (FE) or CCI RCCS preferred
• Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• Copy of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac studies
• Black scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
