District Support Pharmacist - Full Time

In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. Responsibilities Ensure patient safety and quality of pharmacy services. Practice clinical responsibilities and maintain professional practice standards. Comply with regulatory requirements and maintain necessary documentation. Implement quality assurance initiatives. Provide customer service and engage with patients, caregivers, and colleagues. Manage personnel, including motivation, development, and assignment of Pharmacy Support Staff. Administer inventory management and control medication supplies. Monitor financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow efficiency. Lead with empathy and compassion, fostering a caring team culture. Identify business opportunities, develop solutions, and lead the team to achieve specified goals. Adapt to change and seek new collaborative ways to improve outcomes. Align others around purpose to gain support and commitment. Apply acquired knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors. Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications: Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment. Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List. Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA). No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $60.00 - $73.00 per hour (or equivalent annual salary). The base pay will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The position is eligible for bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive programs.
