What You’ll Do: As our Sales Intern, you will support our sales and marketing efforts, gaining hands‑on experience in relationship‑building and community growth by: Assisting the Director of Sales in achieving occupancy goals and executing strategic sales milestones. Driving lead engagement through participation in the full sales lifecycle, including conducting tours, home visits, and personalized follow‑up via phone and email. Creating a lasting first impression by greeting prospective residents and families with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. Executing outreach and events by helping plan, coordinate, and lead community engagement activities and marketing initiatives. Managing sales operations through precise data entry in the CRM, maintaining organized records, and preparing marketing materials or presentations. Collaborating on the move‑in experience to support new residents as they transition into the community, ensuring a seamless and positive start to their journey with us. What We’re Looking For: Current enrollment in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred); High School diploma or equivalent required. A passion for people with a strong interest in senior living, relationship‑based sales, or hospitality. Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly, communicate effectively, and navigate various social settings with ease. Strong organizational habits and a high level of attention to detail, especially when managing data and documentation. Professionalism and integrity, including the ability to maintain strictly confidential and privileged information. A proactive, team‑first attitude with a desire to take initiative, learn from mentorship, and contribute to a fast‑paced environment. Must possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, with the ability to travel throughout the local community. The ability to assist residents with limited mobility, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions. Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates).
