Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a full-time position with weekend rotation required. The shift is a night schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a critical care or emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will have charge experience, as well as a solid understanding of various respiratory therapies and management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and manage ventilators for adult and geriatric patients.
• Assist in emergency procedures, including intubation and extubation.
• Perform respiratory assessments and interpret arterial blood gases.
• Provide patient education on respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RRT or CRT license with a minimum of 2 years (RRT) or 5 years (CRT) experience.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a trauma-level facility is preferred.
