About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Marketing to join their early-stage AI startup. The successful candidate will be the first marketing hire and will be responsible for defining and executing the company's brand, growth strategy, and go-to-market motion. This role is pivotal in driving the company's marketing function end-to-end, including brand positioning, messaging, and narrative, as well as leading growth through various channels. The Head of Marketing will work closely with the founders, particularly on GTM strategy and product positioning, and will be expected to turn product features into compelling marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have 3-8 years of experience in growth, product marketing, or generalist marketing roles, with a strong understanding of multiple growth channels and a proven track record of executing high-impact marketing initiatives. The role requires a product-minded individual with strong user empathy, who is experienced in fast-paced, early-stage environments. Preferred qualifications include experience as the first marketing hire or early marketing leader, a strong personal brand or online presence, and experience in marketing AI, developer tools, or SaaS products. The Head of Marketing will also be expected to have a deep familiarity with product-led growth motions, strong storytelling, and brand-building ability, and experience in using AI tools to enhance marketing systems and workflows.
