Outpatient | Orthopedic | Staff/Senior Physical Therapist

Senior and Staff Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist U of Iowa Health Care seeks a Senior Physical Therapist and a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with complex physical dysfunctions, disorders, and/or injuries in our Specialty Outpatient Clinic at the Medical Center University Campus in Iowa City. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with complex orthopedic dysfunctions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide clinical education and support to patients and team members. Participate in multidisciplinary medical team meetings. Qualifications – Senior Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Licensure in Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy. Minimum 2 years of experience with orthopedic dysfunctions. Strong clinical education skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Desirable – Senior 3+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist. 3+ years specifically evaluating and treating orthopedic patients. Leadership experience. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications – Staff Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Licensure in Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy. Entry-level experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Excellent written and verbal communication. Desirable – Staff 1-3 years of experience in Physical Therapy. 1-3 years in outpatient orthopedic therapy. Experience in multidisciplinary teams. Leadership in a work or academic setting.
