Job Opportunity Abbey Road is a summer study abroad program for American and international teenagers. Our programs take place in the month of July in various locations across Western Europe, Canada and the United States. Programs are offered in international destinations: Canada, France, Spain, Italy, and domestic locations: Santa Barbara, Boston, Miami, Portland, Honolulu. Group Leader Responsibilities Oversee the overall operation of the program, manage the program staff, and serve as the primary liaison with the parents, local partner school and local host families. Plan, coordinate and execute the program, including academic, recreational, social components and student safety. Oversee the entire academic process; work closely with instructors to monitor the overall academic process and student progress. Conduct student observations and evaluations. Oversee the family placements, maintain close contact with homestay families, and address student and parent concerns. Ensure student and staff safety at all times and enforce the program rules and discipline. Group Leader Qualifications Advanced fluency in the target language. 5+ years teaching or administering educational programs. 3+ years leading educational travel programs for teenage students, such as study abroad or summer programs.
