We are seeking a Shop Helper to support the flow of operations, primarily focusing on paint preparation and production tasks such as assembly and grinding using hand and power tools.ResponsibilitiesSupport paint preparation within the production process.Assist in assembly and grinding tasks using hand and power tools.Ensure the organized flow of the shop.Handle shipping and receiving duties.Operate forklifts for materials handling and loading trucks.Maintain inventory and palletize materials.Essential SkillsComfortable working in manufacturing and construction environments.Experience using hand and power tools.Ability to operate sit-down forklifts.Additional Skills & Qualifications6 months or more experience in manufacturing or construction.Preferred experience with bandsaws.Why Work Here?Be part of a tight-knit team that values collaboration and mutual support. The day shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a structured yet adaptable work setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandy, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
