Your Role
- Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess clients' needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive and holistic patient care
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on effective therapy methods to promote continued progress at home
- Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment plans as necessary to ensure continual advancement towards goals
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Commitment to ongoing education and advanced certifications is encouraged and supported
- Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A strong dedication to helping others achieve their top level of autonomy
- Clear and compassionate communication abilities with both patients and team members
