Field Service Technician- Construction Labor

Position SummaryThe Field Technician performs commercial building services on active and post-construction job sites across the Phoenix metropolitan area. This position is responsible for executing assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards required by ACS Building Services and its clients. The Field Technician reports directly to an Operations Supervisor or Lead Technician and operates as part of a crew-based team.Essential FunctionsThe following duties are considered essential to this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Performs post-construction cleaning on commercial buildings including sweeping, scrubbing, wiping down surfaces, and removing construction debris to prepare sites for owner turnoverCleans interior and exterior commercial windows using professional tools and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standardsOperates pressure washing equipment to clean building façades, parking structures, sidewalks, and exterior surfacesPerforms floor care services including sweeping, scrubbing, and maintenance of carpet, concrete, tile, and vinyl surfacesCompletes specialty cleaning assignments as directed by Lead Technician or Operations SupervisorOperates company vehicles to transport equipment and travel between job sites as assignedAdheres to all site-specific safety protocols, federal OSHA standards, and company PPE requirements at all timesInspects and maintains assigned tools and equipment; reports damage or malfunctions to supervisor promptly.Communicates effectively with Lead Technician throughout the shift regarding task progress, site conditions, and any hazards identified.Completes required daily documentation including timekeeping entries and any incident or near-miss reportsQualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED preferred; not requiredExperiencePrior experience in commercial cleaning, construction labor, or a related trades environment is preferred but not requiredOn-the-job training is providedLicenses and CertificationsValid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record is required for any assignment involving operation of a company vehicle; but not requiredFall protection or safety certifications are a plus but not required at time of hireKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to follow verbal and written instructions accuratelyAbility to work effectively as part of a crew under the direction of a Lead TechnicianAbility to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlinesReliable attendance and punctuality are essential to this rolePhysical DemandsThis position requires sustained physical activity throughout the workday.
