The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly within a restaurant, catering, or dietary department setting. As a Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. If you have a love for cooking and a desire to help create delicious meals, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.Assist in menu planning and the development of new recipes.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.Provide support to dietary aides as necessary during meal preparation.QualificationsPrevious experience in the food industry, particularly in roles such as Cook, Dietary Aide, or similar positions is preferred.Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.A passion for cooking and providing high-quality meals that meet dietary needs.Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the kitchen schedule.Fringes:Discounted MealsGame Play DiscountsMedical, Dental and Vision insurance for Full-time employees (30+ hours)Flexible SchedulesMust be able to provide authorization to work in the US - we use E-verify.Any offer of employment made may be subject to a Background Investigation.
