Part-Time Associate Veterinarian

Animal Hospital of East Davie in Mocksville, NC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated veterinary health team. As a valued member of our hospital, you will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while partnering closely with a supportive and collaborative staff. You will manage outpatient appointments, perform thorough physical examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, interpret laboratory and imaging results, and communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses, prognoses, and home care. Depending on your experience and interests, you will have the opportunity to participate in soft tissue surgeries, dental procedures, anesthetic monitoring, and emergency or urgent care cases. You will document all findings and treatments in electronic medical records with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with hospital standards. You will work closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and client service representatives in an environment that values teamwork, respect, and open communication. Our practice emphasizes preventive care, including vaccinations, wellness screenings, nutrition and parasite counseling, and early disease detection. You will contribute to maintaining a low-stress, compassionate experience for pets and their owners through gentle handling and client education.
