Recruitment and Housing Secretary

Terms of Employment: full-time 12-month position, with university benefit package. Located at the Alva NWOSU Campus. Position open until filled.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Recruitment and Housing Secretary is responsible for assisting in the daily operation of the Recruitment and University Housing Offices. This will include management of all clerical functions, coordinating on-campus visits from prospective students and families, organizing recruitment events, maintaining the recruitment and housing databases, managing student workers, performing all functions relating to bulk mailing, giving campus tours, assisting in the overall recruitment efforts of the office including developing electronic media and making videos for recruitment purposes, representing Northwestern both on and off campus, managing and organizing the flow of paperwork in the housing office, answering phones and providing exceptional customer service, as well as other duties that may be assigned. This position will require occasional hours beyond the typical work day on weekends and/or holiday breaks.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will possess a great deal of competence in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint programs, have tremendous people skills and be able to excel in a fast-paced working environment.
