Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in an acute care setting specializing in the care of neonatal patients. The role involves assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for neonates, with an emphasis on providing holistic, individualized care. The RN will develop and implement plans of care that consider psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and biological factors, ensuring the best outcomes for fragile neonatal patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and at least 2 years of experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Candidates must have experience with charting in Epic, patient ratios of 3 neonates per nurse during night shifts, and be proficient in the administration of blood and blood products, neonatal protocols, and complex neonatal procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience and at least 5 years of neonatal nursing experience.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, managing various neonatal procedures such as ECMO, nitric oxide therapy, and ventilator management, and providing family education and support. The role involves floating as needed and volunteering for call shifts, with mandatory completion of orientation hours.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must upload valid licensure, relevant certifications, and references obtained within the last year. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
