The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire billing cycle, from claim submission to payment posting, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. You will play a crucial role in our revenue cycle management, acting as a key liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of medical coding and billing regulations who is ready to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims with insurance companies to ensure timely payment.
• Post payments and adjustments from insurance companies and patients accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Handle patient billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and set up payment plans when necessary.
• Ensure all billing activities comply with current healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other payer policies.
