Project Engineer - CommercialLocation: Phoenix, AZ, USSalary:$70K-$105K (salary depends on experience) Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer with commercial project experience to support delivery of construction programs from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will coordinate technical design, manage submittals and RFIs, assist in cost and schedule control, and work closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport project managers and superintendents with technical coordination across commercial projects and tenant improvements.Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts; identify conflicts and coordinate resolution with design teams and subcontractors.Prepare, track, and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.Assist in cost control activities including change order documentation, quantity takeoffs, and budget tracking.QualificationsMinimum 1+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role on commercial projects (required).Demonstrated experience with commercial construction types such as retail, office, tenant improvement, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, residential/multi-family, and high-rise buildings (preferred).Familiarity with ground-up construction, design-build delivery, new construction, and renovation/tenant improvement workflows (nice to have).Proficiency with construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project, or similar).Candidates who fill out skills and questions move to the front of the application process!BenefitsFull Benefits Included
