Tax Manager Job Description For the tax professional of six or more years of experience this is a real resume builder! Our client has a small tax department but faces the tax challenges of a Fortune 500 company. When stepping into this role you will be considered an in-house tax expert. Tax compliance & planning: accounting for income taxes Federal, State, & International Transfer pricing Tax research & planning Files in all U.S. states and operates in over 70 countries Active in increasing efficiencies and managing all aspects of various tax issues Coordinate the activities of the tax department, including quarterly statutory filings both on the accounting and tax side As Tax Manager you will have the opportunity to learn from a tax management team with 18 years of experience in public and industry. A strong predictor of success for the Tax Manager will be the ability to implement technical changes and coordinate the activities of the tax department, including the quarterly statutory filings both on the accounting and tax side. Our client encourages and provides for continuing education to enable the tax team to stay abreast of new tax laws and trends that may impact the company.
