Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | Saturday, Sunday & Monday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | On-call requirements: None

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-volume surgical services department
• Support a wide range of surgical specialties including neurosurgery, orthopedic trauma, vascular, urology, thoracic, bariatrics, oncology, and plastics
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including MAZOR robot, ROSA, O-arm, and stealth navigation systems
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR (required)
• Adhere to facility dress code and departmental policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN State License
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) – required
• ACLS certification – required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR – required
• OR Neurosurgery experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Brain and/or spine surgical experience
• Da Vinci Robot experience
• Experience in orthopedic trauma, vascular, urology, thoracic, bariatrics, oncology, plastics, or breast surgery
• General trauma surgical experience
