As our Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our Premium Storage Sheds and our Poly Lifetime Outdoor Furniture line. You won’t be stuck in a cramped, fluorescent-lit cubicle. Instead, your "corner office" is one of our top-tier, beautifully crafted display sheds. You’ll be surrounded by the very products you sell, providing a hands-on, immersive experience for every customer who walks onto the lot. What You’ll Be Doing Driving Growth: Actively engaging with walk-in customers and following up on digital leads to hit (and exceed) sales targets. Expert Consulting: Learning the "Poly" difference—explaining why lifetime durability and eco-friendly materials matter—and helping customers design the perfect shed layout for their needs. Staging & Presentation: Keeping your "office" and the shed/furniture displays looking sharp. You understand that a clean, well-staged environment closes deals. Lead Management: Using your sales background to manage a pipeline, moving prospects from "just looking" to "when can you deliver?" Customer Advocacy: Walking customers through the customization process, from color selection to financing options. Who You Are Highly Attentive: Stickler for neatness and professionalism. Highly Motivated: You don't wait for the phone to ring; you’re a self-starter who looks for ways to improve the lot, making sure we present a tidy appearance, and reach more customers utilizing effective ads constantly. Sales Savvy: You have a proven track record in sales. You know how to build rapport, overcome objections, and ask for the close without being "pushy." Independent: You’re comfortable working solo out of your shed office and can manage your time effectively without someone hovering over your shoulder. Professional & Personable: You have the "gift of gab" but also the listening skills to understand exactly what the customer needs. Requirements Experience: 2+ years of sales experience (outdoor power equipment, furniture, automotive, or construction sales are a huge plus). Communication: Top-tier verbal and written skills. Tech-Literate: Comfortable using basic CRM tools, email, and POS systems. Physicality: Ability to move around the sales lot and routinely arranging displays.
