Title: Software Engineer III

Hybrid/Local candidates
Tues & Thurs (onsite days); 3rd onsite day is up to the CW
Pay rate: $70- $75/hr on W2

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced software engineer with a strong background in both front and back-end development using modern technologies. The role involves supporting scalable, user-focused applications on cloud platforms, with responsibilities that include developing software and tools, troubleshooting, debugging, repairing, and upgrading complex software applications. The ideal candidate must excel in collaborative problem-solving, attention to design, and focus on product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in Python
• Experience with Django
• Proficient in JavaScript, including React.js and TypeScript
• Experience with AWS
• Prior work experience in the relevant industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD
• Proficient with Visual Studio Code IDE

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards, stories, and use cases into functional software solutions
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
