Administrative Assistant

Job Description: Role Summary The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the _Branch Manager____________ and will provide administrative and clerical support to field and management staff. Key Results Areas Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and forwarding calls when necessary Partner with all admin and clerical staff on incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Perform basic administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for the office staff Assist in organizing and setting up meeting rooms and necessary equipment for presentations Act as a liaison between different departments and team members, facilitating effective communication Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests, addressing their inquiries and concerns Assist in coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations for company personnel when required Help with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as needed Take and distribute meeting minutes and follow up on action items as directed Assist in special projects and tasks as assigned by management Skills & Qualifications High School Graduate and/or G.E.D 2+ years secretarial/clerical responsibilities Must be capable of accurately typing 50 w.p.m.; Word Processing at 200 strokes per minute Utilize good judgment and discretion in the handling of confidential information Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and can work independently Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities with strong follow-up skills Excellent project management, time management and presentation skills Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel (intermediate to advanced level), PowerPoint, and Adobe Company Statement Company Statement: PSS Industrial provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristics protected by federal, state, or local laws.
