Social Media Content Creator

We’re looking for a Social Content Creator to develop engaging, platform-first content for a portfolio of well-known consumer and retail brands. This person will create short-form video and social content designed to capture attention, highlight products and promotions, and connect with consumers across today’s leading social platforms. The ideal candidate brings experience within retail, consumer goods, or a similar consumer-facing environment and is comfortable owning the content creation process from concept through shooting and editing. You should also be highly comfortable using generative AI tools as part of your everyday creative workflow. A portfolio of relevant social media examples is required for consideration. This position is hybrid with 4 days a week in Dallas and offers a competitive base salary and benefits package. Responsibilities Create short-form video and social content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts Shoot and edit content using both mobile devices and cameras across studio, retail, and on-location environments Use generative AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Runway, CapCut AI, Midjourney, or similar platforms to concept, edit, extend, and version content Turn products, promotions, seasonal moments, and consumer trends into engaging social content and repeatable formats Partner with social, creative, art direction, and design teams to execute content against briefs and deadlines Repurpose and adapt creative for paid social, digital, web, and email channels Test new content ideas and formats and apply performance learnings to future creative Maintain brand standards, creative quality, and responsible AI practices Requirements 2–4 years of social content creation experience, ideally within retail, consumer goods, or another consumer-facing brand or agency environment Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video and social-first content Strong shooting and editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar tools Hands-on experience using generative AI image and video tools Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and what drives engagement Experience creating product-focused or promotional content for consumer audiences Comfortable working on camera and/or directing talent Ability to move quickly and manage multiple content needs and deadlines Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Figma is a plus Photography and lighting skills are a plus Portfolio required for consideration.
