Logistics Supervisor

Job Title: Logistics Supervisor Location: Greenwood, IN Schedule: Monday – Friday Compensation: $55,000 – $60,000 per year plus benefits and paid time off. Job Category: Logistics Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations. Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager to ensure compliance with company standards and customer service specifications. Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate workforce activities for optimal shift and team logistics. Accountable for site key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations. Meet regularly with team members, both individually and collectively, to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel and recognize successes. Promote diversity and inclusion, cultivating team spirit and fostering cooperation. Conduct performance evaluations, recommend awards or merit increases, and address performance issues through corrective action and disciplinary processes. Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with all employees. Implement health, safety and security initiatives, ensuring adherence to company rules and policies. Provide orientation and training for employees and Lead Hands, supplying necessary information, technology and materials. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum one (1) year of experience in transportation, warehousing or distribution environment preferred. 0–1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience required. Knowledge of DOT regulations. Strong planning, results‑oriented, effective leadership and motivating skills. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with high initiative and organizational skill. Flexibility to operate in a fast‑paced environment and capacity for multi‑tasking.
