Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Technician to provide installation, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and technical support for CNC machine tools at customer facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with CNC controls, and the ability to travel extensively while delivering exceptional customer service and technical training.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CNC machine tools at customer locations.
Perform machine setup, calibration, preventive maintenance, and emergency service.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control system issues.
Provide customer training on machine operation, maintenance, and best practices, both onsite and remotely.
Interpret machine manuals, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and service documentation.
Document service activities, repairs, installations, and technical findings accurately.
Communicate technical issues and recommendations to customers and internal management.
Maintain strong knowledge of CNC machine tools, controls, and industry technologies.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction.
Travel regularly to customer sites to provide field service support.

Qualifications

Technical degree preferred or equivalent hands-on experience in CNC machine tool service.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in CNC machine maintenance, repair, installation, programming, or field service.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Experience servicing CNC controls such as FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Heidenhain preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to travel extensively to customer locations.
Ability to pass background checks and obtain required security clearances.
Valid driver's license required.
