Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Real Estate and Corporate Transactions Paralegal to support complex real estate, corporate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), development, financing, and transactional matters from initiation through closing. This role coordinates projects, manages deadlines, supports due diligence, prepares legal documents, and facilitates collaboration among attorneys, internal stakeholders, counterparties, and external partners. Key Responsibilities Coordinate transaction project plans, timelines, deliverables, and closing requirements across multiple concurrent matters. Support M&A, real estate development, financing, and corporate transactions, including due diligence and transaction management. Draft, review, and organize purchase agreements, due diligence checklists, closing documents, corporate resolutions, and closing binders. Conduct and coordinate due diligence, reviewing contracts, leases, corporate records, and other transaction documents. Support real estate closings, including title review, escrow coordination, closing documentation, and post-closing matters. Maintain transaction files, databases, compliance records, key dates, and contractual obligations. Communicate with attorneys, clients, counterparties, lenders, vendors, and other third parties to facilitate transactions. Conduct legal and transactional research and provide administrative and project management support to the Legal team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification preferred. 5+ years of experience supporting real estate, corporate transactions, M&A, or legal project management. Working knowledge of real estate transactions, due diligence, contracts, corporate governance, and legal documentation. Strong organizational, analytical, project management, communication, and research skills. Exceptional attention to detail, discretion, professionalism, and follow-through. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com. Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, investment, or consulting preferred.
