Registered Respiratory Therapist - Concord, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position; specific scheduling to be discussed during interview

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, preferably in a Resource Team setting
• Active NC licensure as RRT or CRT
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Solid experience with invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation (IPPV/NIPPV)
• Demonstrated competency in ED, PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Peds PCU, and General Medical units
• Comfortable floating to varied units and providing care for all age groups as needed
• Open to first-time contract travelers

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including to high-risk neonates, children, and adult patients as required
• Apply advanced ventilatory techniques and respond to emergencies in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Rotate through multiple specialty units, adapting skillset to department needs
• Use EPIC EMR to document interventions accurately
• Collaborate with strong respiratory leadership for ongoing support
• Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and participate in facility and departmental orientation
