Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/28/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n TRAVEL - RN - NICU (675) - HCA HealthONE Rose - 7P - 7A (1027228) \n \n Unit Information: ICN Neonatal ICU / (675) \n Location: HCA HealthONE Rose \n Address: 4567 E 9th Ave, Denver, CO 80220 \n Floor: \n Building: Main \n \n General Information \n Tell us about the unit(s): \n \n Number of Beds – 24 licensed spots \n Number of Staff – 41 \n Type of staff:\n \n Day Shift – 1 charge with an assignment, No nursing aids utilized. Staffing depends on acuity. \n Night Shift – same as above \n \n Patient Ratios – 1:1-4:1 \n Type of equipment – Level 3, oscillators, vents, bubble CPAP, central lines, 23 weeders, ABG machine, pump feeds, telemedicine \n EMR - Meditech \n \n Typical hiring profile \n Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) \n \n Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. \n \n \n Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital NICU RN experience \n BLS & NRP \n Level III or Level IV NICU experience \n \n \n Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. \n \n \n Prior Meditech experience \n PICU experience \n PALS \n \n \n List typical procedures performed on unit(s): \n \n \n Circs, Pneumo taps, intubations, chest tubes (assist with level 3 procedures), no surgeries done at Rose NICU, No Nitric or no head/body cooling. \n PIV’s, medication administration, giving blood, handoffs for communications.
