Utility Arborist

Are you passionate about vegetation management, fuels reduction, and keeping Redding’s utility grid reliable, safe, and efficient? Join our team at Redding Electric Utility as the next Utility Arborist. We are looking for someone to: Trim, shape, and remove tree limbs, branches, and vegetation in close proximity to high- and low-voltage power lines, poles, and transformers, using power chain saws, rope rigging, and other hand tools and equipment. Work from elevated platforms and operate aerial devices. Occasionally, climb trees to remove vegetation and prune them. Qualifications we’re looking for: Two years of line clearance tree trimming experience. Current "Certified Arborist" certification by the International Society of Arboriculture.
