Currently hiring for Home Health PTA for Contra Costa County, CA with multiple openings.
We are looking for high quality, full-time & part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the premier home health care team!

About the Company
Prohealth is a locally owned Home Health, Hospice & Palliative Care agency with 4 locations serving over 12 counties in Northern California. We maintain an average daily census of over 1800 patients. Being an industry leader for over 15 years, we pride ourselves in providing exceptional clinical care with compassion to our patients. Our patient focused care model provides personalized care, ranging from nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and even registered dietitian.
Prohealth Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who will aim to make a positive difference in our community. Our focus is to provide skilled and dignified care in the comforts of their home while providing emotional support to our patients and their families.

Job Responsibilities:
Provides direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care
Treats patient to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance
Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training
Observes and reports to the physical therapist and the Organization personnel the patient’s reaction to treatment and any changes in patient’s condition
Instructs patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices
Qualifications:
Valid PTA License to Practice in CA
Current BLS/CPR certification
Valid CA Driver’s license
Minimum of one year Physical Therapy Assistant experience is preferred
