Logistics Clerk - Distribution Center

Connect Staffing is hiring a Logistics Clerk for a plumbing products distributor in Cypress, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $22.50/hr, Monday through Friday with no weekends. In this role, you will manage orders in a Warehouse Management System (WMS), prepare shipping and receiving paperwork, and process outbound international sales orders. The schedule is consistent and steady with no weekend work.

Responsibilities
- Manage and update orders in WMS (Warehouse Management System) to support daily shipping and receiving operations.
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading (BOL).
- Process outbound international sales orders from entry through documentation.
- Schedule carrier pick-ups and maintain accurate shipment records.
- Quote volume shipments with carriers and assist in routing decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between warehouse operations and customer service staff to expedite orders and resolve shipping issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite and Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience processing international shipping documents or outbound international sales orders.
- Familiarity with carrier quoting and freight routing.
- Experience working in a plumbing, building materials, or industrial products distribution environment.
- Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
- Experience coordinating with customer service or logistics teams to resolve shipment discrepancies.
- Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving clerical duties, including BOL preparation and scan gun use.
