Dental Assistant ForwardDental - Sun Prairie - Ironwood , a growing and patient-focused dental office, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for the right fit to complete our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, and passionate about partnering with our doctor and staff to provide outstanding patient care and an exceptional patient experience. Schedule Monday - Wednesday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM (approximately 9.25 hours per day , including lunch) Thursday: 6:40 AM - 4:00 PM (approximately 9.25 hours per day , including lunch) No evenings or weekends Compensation $20.00 - $26.00 per hour , based on experience Qualifications 2-3 years of dental assisting experience required Must have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience outside of an HMO setting Experienced in supporting a broad range of dental procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and creating positive patient experiences Why Heartland Dental? Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards. Preferred Experience 1+years of experiencein a dental setting Dentrix or other dental software experience Dental assisting school certification Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
