Join us as a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor and play a key role in leading a compassionate, client-centered team. Under the direction of the Director of Community Housing & Support Services (CHSS), you will oversee daily operations within residential programs, ensuring services are delivered safely, consistently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This role focuses on supervising BHT staff, including scheduling, training, and performance support, while fostering a strong, collaborative team environment. You will help maintain a therapeutic setting for clients, support high-quality behavioral health care, and contribute to a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence across JAMHI.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: Three years of experience providing direct behavioral health services to individuals with severe mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, or intellectual/developmental disabilities. Post secondary education in a related field can substitute on a year for year basis for up to two years of experience.
• One year in a supervisory or lead role within behavioral health or a related field.
• License/Certification: Current CPR Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire. Valid driver's license with the ability to clear JAMHI auto insurance screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supervising unionized staff
• Behavioral Health Assistant Occupational Endorsement

Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education. All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver's license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
