Description
  • Conduct assessments for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while creating tailored treatment strategies
  • Implement physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, balance, strength, and functional recovery
  • Work in coordination with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient results
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, planning for discharge, and home-based exercise regimens
  • Document all evaluations and treatment progress in adherence to facility and regulatory protocols
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are an added advantage but not essential
Skills
  • Prior experience strongly preferred
