About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver for a local, heavy-touch delivery route in Grimes, Iowa. This role involves delivering medical supplies and healthcare products to hospitals and other healthcare facilities while providing safe, professional, and reliable service.

Pay & Schedule

• $30.00 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,200
• 40 hours per week
• Local routes based in Grimes, Iowa
• Variable start times based on route and customer needs
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor with a 53-foot trailer safely and professionally.
• Deliver medical supplies and healthcare products primarily to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Load and unload freight at customer locations using a liftgate and electric pallet jack.
• Complete heavy-touch deliveries and handle freight throughout the route.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery and DOT documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• 3 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Experience safely operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
