Quality Assurance Manager The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality control activities within the rotational molding manufacturing process. This position ensures products meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Assurance Manager develops and implements quality systems, leads inspection personnel, investigates quality concerns, and works closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all quality control activities throughout the roto-molding manufacturing process. Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and inspection processes. Supervise, train, and evaluate QC Technicians and Inspectors. Ensure products meet customer specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor production quality and identify opportunities to reduce defects, scrap, and rework. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues. Review and approve inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation. Perform and oversee product inspections for dimensional accuracy, appearance, wall thickness, and structural integrity. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve manufacturing processes. Investigate customer complaints and warranty claims and develop corrective action plans. Track and report quality performance metrics, including defect rates, scrap rates, and customer returns. Maintain calibration programs for measuring and testing equipment. Lead internal quality audits and support customer or third-party audits. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality management systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Prepare and present quality reports to management and participate in production planning and review meetings. Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues within the facility. Typical day-to-day functions Conduct production floor quality audits. Review QC reports and inspection data. Investigate defects and implement corrective actions. Meet with production supervisors regarding quality concerns. Train QC personnel and production employees. Approve product releases and non-conformance dispositions. Analyze quality trends and prepare management reports. Support customer and supplier quality initiatives. Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and quality concerns Good verbal and written communication skills Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Time management and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and quality standards Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and dust Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements preferred Reliable attendance and punctuality Qualification Requirements 3–5 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, rotomolding preferred and given preference. 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Ability to lift up to70 pounds regularly Computer and data entry skills Basic math and measurement skills, with ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges ERP system knowledge is a plus Schedule Flexible – need to be available for first, second and weekend shifts Benefits $80,000/year, starting DOE Health Insurance paid at 75% Vision Insurance paid at 100% Dental Insurance Pet insurance paid for one pet PTO 401K matching Paid holidays Discretionary performance yearly bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr
