As an Employment Specialist (known internally as a Career Resource Specialist) you will help individuals find meaningful employment. A typical day might include the following: Guiding students to develop career goals and objectives Helping students create a customized resume and complete applications for either jobs or school admissions Coaching and preparing for interviews Assisting students at their job sites to ensure success and independence Provide occasional transportation to interviews and other essential employment milestones, while supporting individuals towards independent community travel.
