TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Akron, Ohio, 44307!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel. - One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. Description: This is a travel nursing position in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The shifts are 3 - 12 hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must possess active required certifications with nothing pending. Travelers may need to complete certain assessments during orientation. A negative 10-panel drug screen is required, including nicotine testing. Candidates cannot have any open cases related to background checks. Nurses and surgical technologists are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements until further notice. Candidates may extend their contracts with the client for a period of 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required. Modules for training and orientation are typically required prior to starting the assignment. It is essential to follow all facility procedures and protocols upon acceptance of the position.
