Silvercrest of Urbana is looking for a Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and ensure our residents receive high-quality, nutritious, and enjoyable meals. What You'll Do: Lead, train, and support the dietary team Oversee daily dietary operations, including meal service and food preparation Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident diets, preferences, and physician orders Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility food service regulations Monitor food quality, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards Manage dietary schedules, staffing, and department needs Assist with food ordering, inventory, and cost control Work closely with nursing and other departments to meet resident nutritional needs Respond to resident and family feedback and help create a positive dining experience Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For: Previous dietary or food service leadership experience preferred Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and resident-focused approach Dietary Manager certification/credentials preferred, but experience will be considered Why Join Silvercrest of Urbana?
