Job Description: This position is for an experienced Software Engineer with either professional or personal project experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI. The position will be part of the Applied Research and Technology (ART) Aerospace Technologies Team designing and developing the next-generation avionics systems of the future. The ART Aerospace Technologies Development Sandbox team is chartered with defining new disruptive developmental process improvements for the Client's Aerospace business to enable faster cycle times, lower total lifecycle cost, reduce tech debt and enable greater reusability. This position will be performed on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, design and conclude experiments to accelerate business capabilities in Generative AI for safety-critical development

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Strong software development experience and skills
• Proficient in Unix/Linux
• Proficient in Python
• Proficient in Full Stack Development
• Proven execution skills in the development of complex systems
• Ability to communicate clearly to large audiences
• Understanding of the fundamentals of AI/ML through research or practice
• Experience in deploying Generative AI powered applications
• Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) development frameworks (e.g. LangChain, Haystack)
