Quality Inspector – 1st Shift

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + Overtime

What You’ll Do

• Inspect incoming PCBAs and electronic components for quality and compliance

• Perform microscope inspections (solder joints, wiring, board integrity)

• Use precision tools : calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, vision systems

• Compare parts to blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Identify and document defects & non-conformances in QMS systems

• Review travelers, conformance reports, and inspection documentation

• Support final inspections and overall quality processes

• Partner with production teams in a cell-based environment

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3+ years of quality inspection experience (electronics or mechanical)

• Strong experience with PCBA / circuit board inspection

• Comfortable working under a microscope for detailed inspections

• Skilled with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation

• Experience documenting results in QMS, Excel, or similar systems

• Sharp eye for detail and ability to identify defects accurately

Nice-to-Have (Big Plus!)

• IPC 610/620 certification (current or past)

• Experience with CMMs, MicroVues, or vision systems

• Experience in medical device or electronics manufacturing

• Familiarity with cell-based production environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
